The objective of this panel is to begin to identify how Canada and CARICOM can reverse current trends and expand bilateral trade and investment. What works, and what could stand improvement, for traders and exporters between Canada and the Caribbean.
Representatives from businesses active in the region will provide their experiences and suggest specific advice. Representatives from trade promotion and facilitation agencies will discuss their services and make suggestions on what traders and investors require to have success. Finally, there will be a discussion of whether, and in what form, future government to government trade rules are required to help expand trade.
