The Canadian Farm Worker Program faces challenges related to living conditions, worker rights, health risks, and economic implications. Advocates continue to call for reforms to improve the program and protect the rights of migrant workers. At the same time, the program is recognized as providing significant economic benefits to the Canadian agriculture industry and to Jamaica and Jamaicans.
