The Board of Governors of Northern Caribbean University has appointed Dr Vivienne L. Quarrie as Interim President, effective June 16, 2026. Following the recent resignation of Professor Lincoln Edwards, the University Board has established a presidential search committee to identify a suitable candidate for the post of president. While this process is underway, Dr Quarrie will lead the institution.
An associate professor, Dr Quarrie has served as Associate Vice-President for Academic Administration with responsibilities for Graduate Studies and Research, and as Vice-President for Academic Administration
