The inaugural Caribbean Canadian Investment Summit and Trade Forum was recently held in Toronto. The high-level participation from the private sector and various governments in the Caribbean and Canada is a significant expression of the close links between us… and the scope we have to build more.

A Heartfelt Thank You from CCISTF 2026
As we reflect on the conclusion of the inaugural Caribbean Canadian Investment Summit and Trade Forum (CCISTF) 2026, we do so with tremendous gratitude.
Over two impactful days, we brought together leaders and stakeholders from across Canada and the Caribbean to advance conversations around trade, investment, entrepreneurship, innovation and stronger economic collaboration.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Consular Corps and diplomatic community for their guidance, encouragement and support throughout our journey, and to Global Affairs Canada and Canadian diplomatic representatives for their participation and contribution to this important dialogue.
To the Ministers and government leaders who delivered keynote ad
dresses, participated in the Summit or shared special video messages when they could not attend in person; thank you for ensuring your voices and perspectives were part of CCISTF. We also appreciate the Caribbean Tourism Organization for contributing an important regional tourism perspective through a special message.
To every speaker, presenter and panelist, thank you for sharing your expertise and helping create substantive and forward-looking discussions.
Special appreciation goes to our Emcee for guiding the program with professionalism and energy.

The true measure of CCISTF will not simply be what happened during these two days, but what we collectively do with the relationships established, conversations started and opportunities identified.
The inaugural Summit has concluded, but the work continues.
